Haiti.  My name is Sylfanie Alexis. I am a young Haitian student living in Haiti. In order to meet my academic needs, I decided to start a small service company to provide online registration for applicants wishing to enter the University and help them prepare for the entrance exams for the Faculties of the country.

My business allowed me to make some money, but I could never save money because I didn’t have control over my business. Then I met a friend who told me about the course and got me interested in participating. Since then I have been able to understand how important my business is and I have been able to save money. Furthermore, I am even able to project my business and am thinking of opening another product business in less than a year. My experience with this program has been fascinating and life changing and I am coming to understand that our autonomy depends on our Home, Business and Community.
