Angola.  Edna had to balance her work with her MBS course training. But it was all worth it and she is now able to manage her business using what she learned from the MBS. 

Hello, I’m Edna Chitombi, and I live in Angola. I started in the commercial world 18 years ago working as a Cashier Operator but three years later I stopped working and enrolled in the Gregório Semedo University for a degree in Business Organization and Management. While I was graduating I opened a hair salon, I had other street businesses such as: selling clothes, jewelry, cement, drinks, etc.  For 12 years I have been an Insurance Broker and also a Store Manager in a hypermarket in the country. I like sports and I practice a modality called Crav-Maga – Personal Defense. I have already participated in some community activities in orphanages taking food and school supplies, and helping in the cleaning in my community. This course was a challenge for me, because reconciling work and training was not an easy task. However, each Unit was encouraging me not to give up and I could discover new skills, new perspectives of interior, family and community change, and with this knowledge I can impact other people’s lives. Before the course, my street business was done in an empirical way, I had no concept that my Wheel of Quality of Life was unbalanced and the MBS has totally changed the concept I was using, it also gave me a different vision of business, and I learned the step by step process to create a business, in an uncomplicated way using the necessary tools. I must thank the brilliant initiative of Interweave Solutions in choosing my country to be part of this Project.
