Cameroon. I’m Djonfabe Dieudonne, the promoter of African Network Energy, a Cameroonian company specialized in the installation of solar panels. Our ambition was clear: to provide clean, affordable energy to the country’s rural populations. But managing my business was sometimes too much for me, so I decided to take a course in business management through the MBS.
From the very first modules, I understood the importance of rigorous financial management and learned how to analyze my costs, optimize my budget and draw up reliable projections. Thanks to these tools, I was able to identify my company’s weak points and make strategic decisions to improve its profitability. One of the most striking aspects of the training was the awareness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). I discovered how integrating sustainable practices could not only enhance my company’s image, but also contribute to the development of my community. Armed with my new skills, I’m going to transform African Network Energy. The company has implemented an ambitious CSR policy, committing itself to using sustainable materials, training local people and donating part of its profits to social projects. My story is an illustration of the transformative power of training. By acquiring business management skills and embracing the principles of CSR, I have not only propelled my company to success, but will also contribute to the sustainable and inclusive development of my environment and of Africa. I am now a role model for African entrepreneurs. My story shows that ambition, combined with knowledge and commitment, can change the world
