Ecuador. Silvana Lucía Lora Chávez. I am a publicist by profession, but at the age of 45 I studied to become a Cosmetologist. Cosmiatrist as an alternative because in our country the older you get the less opportunity there is to get a job.
At 53 years of age, my husband suffered an illness that left him disabled and I studied to be a physical therapy assistant so that I could help him. Studying also helped me to get out of the routine to avoid the strong depression that this event caused me. I have always been involved in community work as a member of the Comité Promejoras de Calderón and that is why I always have information about courses and training for entrepreneurship. From all the experiences, I learned to embroider and now with Interweave Solutions I can manage the business well. Interweave Solutions has motivated me to develop my skills and promote a women’s group, Inti Warmicuna. We organize to improve our quality of life by commercializing what we did, but until today we did it in an empirical, disorganized way and with few economic results. I have a vision of what I want to do because of the security that this training has given me. With Interweave Solutions I learned financial tools to be an entrepreneur and guide my women in an organized way. I will never tire of thanking you for your support and above all for sending us a great human being to be our trainer.
