Cameroon. Mendjock Beng Blaise Loti: Food Company Ltd started in 2017 as a small-scale farm, as if to combine business with pleasure. In 2018, I grew 3 hectares of plantain, macabo and pistachio. The harvest was substantial and so was the income. My concern was to expand my vision. That’s why I moved to the east of the country to find wide open spaces where the soil is fertile.
Due to a lack of financial means, I was unable to carry out my project. When I discovered the MBS training course on Facebook, my first thought was of the certificate. As I followed the course, I discovered the Self-reliance Model, the 6Ps of business, and financial management. I witnessed the practice of the 6Ps and financial management in the last company where I worked. I’ve seen the company evolve and I’m convinced of the effectiveness of these principles. I’ve made up my mind to set up my own farm and put into practice all the principles I’ve studied, and to be self-reliant.
