MBS Imparts Practical and Applicable Knowledge
Ecuador. My name is Veronica Ortega, I am 39 years old and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing, but my passion is painting. Additionally I have a family business selling furniture and mattresses. I have been divorced for nine years, I have two daughters, one who is 14 and another who is 9 years old, whom I am currently raising with the support of my parents, siblings, and of course the support of their father. I am a female entrepreneur who is very creative, honest, and above all very competitive.
My greatest inspiration is my daughters since they are my support as much personally as professionally. Having grown up in a family that has always been dedicated to business, my family taught me to work without letting myself fall. As a plus, ever since I was very little I have been very creative and as a result over the years I found out my passion for painting. Entry to the Emprende Riobamba (Venture Riobamba) project was the greatest motivation since I was able to introduce my products to the city of Riobamba through its exhibition points where I was received very well. The moment I decided to start my venture I had a clear vision that learning would be a constant. Having started to be part of MBS has helped me to gain more knowledge and strengthen my venture since the tools that it provides are very practical. They help to analyze our strengths and weaknesses as well as to be able to provide feedback and review what we may be failing at in the future.
