“After finishing the MBS program, I have learned new tools, which I consider to be very useful in order to appropriately negotiate and manage a business. We learned how to set goals, prioritize, and find balance in our lives through the Quality of Life Wheel. As a result of finishing the MBS program, I started the process of forming a new business, a company dedicated to training and consultation. Currently, I find myself in the phase of making and presenting the required documents for the state so I can establish it. My goal is that through this business, the locals in my city can be trained and acquire the necessary knowledge to improve their employment and financial situation, and by so doing, improve the conditions of our community and city. On the other side of things, I am also carrying out volunteer activities. For example, I am part of the program, “Free to Create Opportunities,” which fulfills the call for locals to donate books they no longer use that are in good condition. They are sent, organized, and distributed to different schools. I also formed part of the group Scout 167 – San Josemaria, attended by boys and girls from age 7 to 21. Through the scout movement, they are taught in playful ways about values, teamwork, and community service. It is a volunteer activity, very exhausting to be sure, but gratifying because it allows us to work with the younger generation and find ways to improve things in our community through them. I consider it to be my way of leaving a legacy for our society and trying to make the world a better place for the next generation.”
