Mexico. Napoleon Palacios Sales – In 2010 my family and I had a loss of USD 120,000 for investing in the stock exchange without having the necessary schooling to operate. In 2013 I lost the right to a marketing network with 400 associates, faced a depression, and we had to live on a very tight budget. We started Café Dyka with three kilos of roasted and ground coffee.
We prepared bags of 250 grams and started selling. We currently buy green coffee from small producers in the region. Before covid-19 we sold at a point of sale. We had to close and when we opened again we offered whole grain cookies and churritos. That allowed us to keep up with sales. As is common in business, we have good months and we have months with considerable declines in sales. With faith and determination we stand with a vision to improve. This year 2022 we are facing inflation in all inputs and raw materials. Knowing that an economic recession is coming, we will try to adjust as much as possible in the budget. This course is helping me a lot to visualize growth and most importantly to manage finances.
