While taking this course, I learned many new ideas on how to start and manage your own business. During the course we explored the basic steps in starting and maintaining a good business; exploring all the six p’s in business is going to help me in the real world. Now that I know about all of the steps in starting and growing a business, I can use them to their fullest potential. One of my favorite lessons in this course is in unit four which is paperwork. In this principle I learned great lessons about separating business money from personal income, paying yourself a salary and saving regularly. Although the course was complex, taking into consideration the many challenges along the way, it was really wonderful for me to learn something new. It tooks a lot of time, effort and commitment but it opened my eyes to what it would be like to have a career in managing a business. Later in the course I also learned about how to keep a business clean and organized. For someone like me, who wants to start up their own business after completion of the course, this course is very important. This course will benefit me as I start up my own business, because I will be able to manage it accordingly and get people to know about it. Overall, throughout this course I learned a lot of new and different ideas that can help me today and I will be able to keep with me and use them throughout my entire life. Thanks to the founding members, supporting staff and to all course facilitators for implementing this great opportunity.
